Living on Campus
Tyler Junior College is pleased to offer residential living facilities on the main TJC campus. The on-line Housing application can be found on Apache Access and is separate from the TJC Admissions application. You must have an A number from the TJC Admissions office before you can sign-in on the Apache Access site to complete the Housing application.
Residential Hall space is very limited and applications are accepted year-round. It is important to complete the Housing application process early. Freshmen are not required to live on campus and current residents always have first priority for space in the residence halls. Completing the Housing application process does not guarantee a residential space on campus.
For new Housing applicants, only completed files will be moved to the Placement Pending roster. Priority on the Placement Pending roster is set by the electronic date/time stamp on the application. The first round of room assignments are usually made in early May.
Your Housing file must be complete before a room is assigned. A completed file has 4 items: an on-line Housing application, payment of a $100 one-time, non-refundable Application Processing fee, completed and signed background check form, and bacterial meningitis vaccination documentation
